BioI'm a 22 year old college student from the midwest. My life revolves around two things really - history and reading.
This journal functions mainly as a route to reading fanfiction on LJ and elsewhere, but I do update with random things from time to time. Some of it's personal, other things are just news or opinions on issues.
I'm a fanfiction addict and this extends to many different movies/books/tv shows. My fandom that I always return to time and time again is Harry Potter. Basically, I love all things Harry Potter and am a complete Potterhead. Want to discuss anything canon or fandom related? Just start a thread, and I'm sure to reply!
Also, I'm currently in love with Jack Sparrow fan fiction (and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies in general) especially when the fic pairing is Sparrabeth (Jack/Elizabeth). I'm also quite obsessed with GSR (Grissom/Sara) from CSI, and I'll read some random House/Cameron from House MD on occasion.
I love to read outside fanfiction as well. My favorite author is Tolkien and following in that vein, my favorite book and movie(s) is/are The Lord of the Rings. I also adore JK Rowling's work and devour any news of Harry Potter (Don't even get me started on the delay to the sixth film... honestly, does Hollywood have no decency?!?!) Shakespeare and Austen are two of my other favorite authors. I do like some American authors as well... but apparently the Brits are just my favorites!
My favorite color is purple, so I'm posting this little quiz thing just to give a glimpse of my personality. It defintely describes me.
